The Hamilton Foot Care team is elated to announce our participation in this year's Socks 4 Souls Canada Drive.
During this time we ask that patients show their support by bringing in an unused pair of adult socks to their next appointment, to hang on our Socks 4 Souls Tree of Hope.
If you're not a patient but you live nearby (particularly around west Hamilton Mountain and Ancaster), we are your local Socks 4 Souls drop off point, and we would love to receive your donations.
We hope to collect at least 200 pairs of socks for the charity.
Why donate socks to our drive?
Socks are the most needed and least donated piece of clothing to the homeless.
For those experiencing homelessness, dry and clean socks will help fight foot disease. A fresh pair of socks can help prevent infections like cellulitis, osteomyelitis and trench foot, allowing them the ability to walk to shelters, job interviews, and anywhere they need to go.
How you can help
Please bring your donations of unused pairs of adult socks to your appointment, or any time during our opening hours:
Monday: 9:30am - 4:30pm
Tuesday: 8am - 3pm
Wednesday: 11am - 7pm
Thursday: 10am - 4pm
Friday: 9:30am - 4:30pm
We are located on West Hamilton Mountain at 770 Mohawk Road West, Unit C4
Please feel free to drop your donations under our tree at any time.
We thank you in advance for your kind support as we look to support those experiencing homelessness with their foot health.
